These 3D Munich city models are the brainchild of Luis Dilger, one of our designers and mapping specialists. Luis applies his skills with 3D printing technology and modelling to our vast database of geographic and architectural data. The result is a Munich 3D cityscape work of art so detailed it feels as though you’re hovering right above the city.
Each 3D City Drawing is made with state-of-the-art architectural software, employing the use of GIS mapping data as well as NASA’s Shuttle Radar Topography Mission. With a 1-arc-second data range, we are able to show within a 30 metre degree of accuracy both the geographic landscape of a city as well as its urban contexts.
